Simply tremendous story in the Baltimore Sun concerning 11-year old champion amateur Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson. Simpson came back to town as a national champion in the Silver Gloves but, as Erica L. Green writes, tragedies around his life, including the stabbing death of his friend, gymmate and mentor Ronald "Rock" Gibbs, have inspired him to achieve in the ring and in the classroom.
