WBFF-TV Fox 45 is reporting that Baltimore City Police have made an arrest in the murder of 17-year-old Ronald "Rock" Gibbs, who trained at Upton Gym.

Police have arrested 30-year-old Terrance Sims and have charged him with first-degree murder. Police say Sims was arguing with Gibbs's sister and when Gibbs came to her defense, Sims stabbed both of them. Gibbs passed away at a local hospital. His sister was treated and released.

It hurts me everyday to know that he won't be graduating with me . I keep thinking bout our middle school days and our short high school days. I wish that I could have told him how much I valued his friendship his smile made my day everytime he was around I'm missing him each day and for a older guy that's old enough to be his dad for him to take his life is terrible the elderly suppose to protect the young and because of a issue that could have been resolve got out of hand I'm left with out my friend =(

Thank you so much for writing in. I do appreciate it and my condolences for your loss. Ronald was a loss to people in and out of the Beltway Boxing community.

I wish you well in your future endeavors and please, take care!
