Undefeated McCalla Added to Niagara Falls Card June 19!

Undefeated Baltimore middleweight Cecil McCalla has been added to the Friday, June 19 card at the Niagara Falls Conference Center in Niagara Falls, NY.

McCalla (11-0, four KO's) will take on veteran "The Modern-Day Warrior" Ruben Galvan (27-13-4, 10 KO's) of Hammond, IN in a scheduled six-round contest. McCalla is coming off a six-round unanimous decision win over Gary Lynch on March 6 in Charlotte, NC. Galvan fought to a six-round draw with Leroy Newton on November 13 in Merriville, IN.

This is the same card that will be headlined by former world heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman as he takes on Shannon Miller.

Paschall's show is this Thursday, June 17 at Du Burns.

I have been asked by the promoters not to put out any more info on the card then I already have until the weigh-in takes place on Wednesday.

The promoters feel that outside forces are trying to sabotage the card.

"The promoters feel that outside forces are trying to sabotage the card" - Nope, never happen, not in this game.

Sabotage a card, really that still goes on? Well that would be more reason for me to move forward and hype the card even more. If people are trying to do the show harm, the shows people should step up the game and not worry about that happening...

Unless the commission is in on the sabotage how can it be sabotaged?

just asking

Brian, some rival promoters call up fighters and ask them not to fight on another promoters card. They will also bad mouth promotes to the owners of the event venue.

Wow people still do that. Serious third grade nonsense.
