We Interrupt Our Boxing Coverage for This Shameless Plug!

I just wanted to briefly mention that I am honored to be working as one of the public address announcers for an outstanding high school basketball tournament that will be taking place starting tomorrow, April 1 at the Coppin State University Physical Activities Center in Baltimore, MD and continuing through Saturday, April 3.

It is the National High School Invitational and it will feature some of the best high school teams in the country, including four that are ranked in USA Today's Top 25 -- Number 2 Findlay Prep (Nevada), Number 6 Oak Hill (Mouth of Wilson, VA), Number 11 Winter Park of Florida and Number 14 Christ School of North Carolina. Also, Montrose Christian of Rockville, MD will be a part of this tournament.

Every game of the tourney will be televised. The four games I will work on Thursday will be on ESPNU beginning at 2 PM ET. There will be four games on Friday that I will miss because of the boxing card in DC. The two boys semifinal games will be on ESPN2 beginning at noon ET and the two girls games will be on ESPNU starting at 4:30 PM.

I will work the finals on Saturday, April 3. The Girls Final will be on ESPN2 at 11:30 AM and the Boys Final will be on ESPN at 1:30.

Again, I am honored to be a part of this tourney and I look forward to seeing many of you there.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled boxing coverage.
