Update on June 19 Card in Salisbury!

The state of Maryland will be busy this week with two big shows. We've talked about the Thursday, June 18 card at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, but now there is an update on the Friday, June 19 card at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, MD.

The card features the first main event bout for the hometown hero, undefeated middleweight prospect Fernando Guerrero. The main event remains the same as Guerrero (13-0, 11 KO's) will face Brian "The Assassin" Norman of Decatur, GA (17-8, five KO's) in an eight-round bout.

Guerrero's brother, Alex, will make his pro debut on this card in a cruiserweight bout against Rodricka Ray of Jackson, TN (2-1, one KO).

Largo, MD middleweight Dominic "The Blade" Wade (2-0, two KO's) returns to action to face veteran Anthony Cannon of Saginaw, MI (4-12, one KO) in another four-round contest.

There will be another set of brothers on this card as the Ennis Brothers of Philadelphia, PA will be in two interesting bouts. Middleweight Derek (17-2-1, 12 KO's) will face Joshua "Poison" Onyango of Trenton, NJ by way of Kenya (14-17-1, 11 KO's) in an eight-round contest. Super Middleweight Farah (10-0, five KO's) will risk his undefeated record against the one belonging to Norfolk, VA's Bobby Jordan, Jr. (6-0-1, two KO's) in another eight-round encounter.

Also on the card will be undefeated Akron, OH junior middleweight Shawn Porter (8-0, six KO's) who will face fellow undefeated boxer Dion Savage of Flint, MI (5-0, three KO's).

The card will be shown live on internet Pay-Per-View over www.prizefighttv.com for $4.95.
