Boxing Tribune Features 'Heidi' Curtis!

When people mention names of the great boxers that have come through the Beltway area, the name Louis "Heidi" Curtis doesn't come up as often as it should.

A member of the famed 1976 United States Olympic team that featured fellow Beltway Boxers Sugar Ray Leonard and SGT. Charles Mooney (as well as Michael and Leon Spinks, Howard Davis, Davey Armstrong and Leo Randolph among others), Curtis was a very talented flyweight boxer who fell just short of winning a world title.

Ken Hissner of Boxingtribune.com has been doing nice interviews with all the surviving members of the 1976 US team, regarded by many as the greatest Olympic boxing team ever assembled. Mr. Hissner has given me permission to post a link to his interview with Curtis.
