Ron Boyd is not Aug.3 card Boyd on the showtime Aug.4

Gary Digital Williams said...

This will be a nice stretch coming up for us.

These look like some good cards.

We have had a great year for local cards so far!

Great year so far indeed!

Han, I do have one request for your show: "Discombobulating" Jones as ring announcer.

Digital, have you read Jones's autobiography "More than a Notion," and if so, how is it? I ordered a copy off Amazon.

Gary Digital Williams said...

It is a great read, ACW! It's hard to believe the life Henry has lived. But it is a wonderful book!

hey ACW, I would love to use Discobobulate Jones on my show. But as you know, I have my regular guy, his name is Terrence Crawford.
I also have another guy in back up and he had been trained by Crawford. Let me tell you who is on my show as of today.
Bobby gunn-17-3
Lawrence Jones-2-0 vs Matt Hill
Scott Buchanan-1-0 vs Moses Halls
Baymunk Bayjargnal-2-0
Andrew Farmer-7-1
Scott Farmer-Virginia Boxing legend , he can still fight!
Mike Ricasa-7-2
Please come out and support your local fighters.

ACW, Terrence "TNT" Crawford actually was trained by Discombobulating Jones.

And by the way, Crawford did an OUTSTANDING job last Saturday in Winchester! His voice never sounded better and he had the crowd with him the whole night!

Han, is the guy facing Buchanan Moses Smalls? If so, that could be an interesting bout. Smalls gave Terry Roy a tough battle in Fisherville this past April.

Your card, as well as the August 3 show at Rosecroft, should be fantastic!

Hmm, so Buffer (one of the all time greats) trained Jones (who I enjoy) trained TNT. Interesting.

Han, when do tickets go on sale and how much are they (and where can I buy them)?

Anonymous said...

Oh, and Han, how about Bayan Jargal's opponent being Jaime Rodriguez, a rematch from the draw a few moths ago?

Gary Digital Williams said...

This is one of the reasons why I am proud of this site.

A little more than two years ago, ACW was a neophyte, just learning about this business of boxing.

Two years later, HE'S PLAYING MATCHMAKER!! This is great!

Seriously, I am glad to see this take place. Always appreciate your support, ACW!

Bayanmunkh Bayanjargal AKA Bayan Jargal is a good puncher. Here are a couple photos from his Patriot Center match vs Shane Gierke

i have heard a lot about tim coleman. when is he going to fight again. how about coleman v.s farmer? that would be interesting.?

Linda "Great Shot" Siadys said...

I think a fight between Tim and Andrew would be a good matchup, but Can welter and lightweight fight each other?

Han I would like to fight Bobby Gunn. Seen his clip of him sparring Nwodo. What you say? As you know my personal situation right now I am in tip top superb shape not like the last two times I was out there to fight them 2 slugs Emanuel Nwodo & Purcel Miller(just kidding). Anyways I would do a winner take all fight. Thats how confident i am. I have not been in shape in 42 pro fights and now i am. the time is right. You know how hard I hit-lol Ron Krull

Han that kid Baymunk could be a star, he has all the tools I will definitely be there to see him..

Mike Paschal should not be fighting Richard Stewart. Paschal has no power, he is out of shape and boring. Justlook at his last performance. It was terrible even his own supporters couldnt find anything to chear about. he Fought a guy Henry Mayes easily beat and left the ring without a scratch. paschal hugged, mugged and scampered off ballance for 4 disgusting rounds. This match is a travisty (iI is all about the money. Not good fights.) Henry Mayes vs Richard Stewart thats the matchup real fans want to see. A relentless brawler in Stewart vs a now polished boxer Henry Mayes with a big punch. Just look what he did to Jessie Nicklow a Stewart like boxer on the last Du Burns card.

Whatup Digital
I saw you ringside at the last cards at Du Burns. And I know that you and the Fight doctor loved my performances. By the way this is the Hurricane rejuvinated and once again every supermiddleweights worst nightmare. Give me some props. I started boxing five years ago and I am 34 now. That says alot doesn't it. Ask anyone along the beltway in my weight class that they wouldn't want to fight and I bet my name is first on their list. And by the way my weight class is Middleweight or Super Middleweight ask about me. But you already know. Skills, attitude, confidense, CONTROL, and speed are the keys to my game now. Its a shame that the best prospect in the area is on the backside of his career. Enjoy me while you can.

Sincerely THE HURRICANE
