Former world featherweight contender Daniel "The Prophet" Attah lost by ninth-round technical knockout to undefeated Mario Santiago on March 10 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
According to a Fightnews.com account, the bout ended when Santiago unleashed a furious barrage on the DC-based fighter, forcing Attah's corner to call a halt to the bout.
Attah's record falls to 24-4-1, eight KO's. Santiago scores the biggest win of his career and is now 18-0, 13 KO's.
