Great Card from the Amatures to the Pro's.

I was very impressed with Jeremy Miller. What a way to start the night off.
I thought the Gross-Ankers fight was a very action packed also. Your right though Mr. Jones the fight was very very close until Dayvon catch Ankers and dropped him. It was still a good fight after that, but the momentum swang Dayvon's way. Congrats again Dayvon..Good fight Dan.
For all the trash talked about the Wheeler-Farmer fight I thought Farmer would have fought harder. You cant win a amature fight without throwing punches, which Farmer did not do. Like I said he would do, Wheeler used his boxing ability and movement to easily win this fight. He also won the trades of punches exchanged in the 4th round. Big-Up Steve way to back me up!
Tough fight for Willie, but he changed the whole fight in that 4th. I think Willie would have KO'd him in 1 more round. Good job Willie.
Jessie surpassed his toughfest competitor yet. I tell you Jessie gets better every time. He is a very tough kid, who fought 1 hell of a fight.
Paschall-Smith---I had Paschall winning by a round. I think a decision was a ok call though. Mike you finished the fight strong and fought hard against a game Smith. I cant wait to see the rematch. I got Paschall winning more convincingly in the rematch. It was his first 8 rounder, and turned to be 1 hell of a fight. Pashall surprised me though in the begining coming straight forward, and later displaying his movement. Mike made Smith miss a whole lot, showed great movement, and showed he has the gas to go 8 rounds. Get him next time Mike. Good fight brother!

A shill is a shill is a shill. At some point the blog and its greek shills stop maintaining any objectivity at all and just become some sort of ass-kissing waste of time. I suppose at that point it will disappear.
The white boys on the Martin's West cards get home town decisions over and over again. It is a disservice to the audience and to all the fighters of Maryland. And should be an embarASSment to the State Athletic Commission (if they care).I would assume that it also will keep quality fighters from other states from coming to Maryland to fight. So in the end, the home town decisions will kill the series. Because good fighters will avoid Martins West and Jake the Snake like the plague, therefore a poorer and less competitive crew will have to be brought in to prop up the white boys. So the boys will keep beating up on lesser and lesser foes, the quality of the fights will get worse but their records will get better, so to keep them winning more money will have to be spent to prop them up. The shows will become more expensive, the crowd will slowly erode, and the series wil just die of its own devices. Or is it vices? And to the end the Greek and the band of anonymous bloggers can keep rah rahing for the home town boys decisions. Pretty damn sad if you ask me for such a great sport. But actually having the boys win when they don't deserve to isn't really sport, is it?

One of the points of this blog is for fans to do exactly what Golden Greek does; pump up the local boxers. Granted, GG is a little closer to the situation, being a boxer himself.

If this was a hometown decision, than Paschall would have gotten the win. To call the Maryland State commission unfair is a ball-faced lie and to say they are racist (which is what you are implying) is one of the most uninformed comments I have read on this blog.

Do you believe that both Corey Cummings and Ishmail Arvin deserved victories in their last encounters? The answer to that has to be no.

This is all I will say for the moment, especially since, once again, you don't have the guts to back up your comments with a name.

Right on Brad. The Hurricane is going to be nice at 160.

MAN W/THE PLAN: No problem I can see how you was confused, with all the anonymous people (who was probly the same person sending seperate messages). 1 thing though 1st you said Mike got his azz beat, and then you said you werent there? I know rumors get around quick and you probly had just heard that from some-1 (Im not knocking you man) But like Brad said Mike did NOT get his azz beat. It was a very very close fight, and a draw was a good call.

Anonymous: Come-on now man the sport of boxing is dominated by Black and Hispanic fighters, why do you have to pull the race card? It seems people like you will never give a white fighter credit, there will always be something. All the "White" fighters your knockin are fighting tougher copmpetition every fight, like they are suppose to. Go to boxrec and look at world champions, they are brought up the same way, even Too-Sharp, Sharmba, Corley, Pettway were progressed through there careers the same way and they all became great Hall of fame fighters. Were you at the fights? Did you see the fights? Nicklow fought tougher competion; Paschall fought a very tough fighter, who also fought Sugar-Poo but I guess that was different right cause Mike is white. Bottom line-leave the race card at home. Paschall & Nicklow are both game to fight any-1, and they are being managed the right way. And if the "White" boys keep getting hometown decisions why did Paschall get a draw and Ricasa have 2 go the other way?

Look ya I got favorites just like ya do, thats what the site is for to talk about boxing who you like and what you think is gonna happen. I know all these guys personally and have good friendships with them so of course i root for them, but I also am honest and will not say something that may not be right just to pump them up. And I aint just rooting for the white fighters, I was pumping up Willie Williams, who is a class "A" guy along with Hurricane Mayes. I also pump up fighters I dont personally know like Ishmal, Cummings. Yes I pumped up Wheeler alot on here, and yes me and Steve are close, but I didnt pump all that up just because were close. It was because I strongly felt that would be the outcome, which it was. I try not to affend any-1 on here, thats not what the site is for, but when I got called out I had to respond. I still tried to keep it PG though.

END POINT: Sorry to go on and on, but this stuff had to be said. Gary thanks for having my back. The site is Awesome. IMAGINE HOW FAR BALTIMORE WOULD BE IN THE BOXING GAME IF ALL US BALTIMORIANS SUPPORTED EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF HATE & TRY TO PULL EACH OTHER DOWN. We eat and sell crabs in bmore lets not be crabs. Support each other and lets put BMORE on the map.

I'll give you a perfect example of a White fighter by the name of White (Dean White), who since his 5 year layoff has fought nothing but competetive fighters. Fighting a 6rd fight against Ricasa 5-1 in his first fight, 2nd fight Orlando Dawley 10-0, his 3rd fight against a game Marty Robbins 21-25,who if you look at who he's fought you would agree, his 4th fight a rematch with Ricasa, his 5th fight against Nick Casal 14-0 with 12 ko's fought to a draw, and his 6th and most recent fight against Monty Clay 20-1, and all of the fights were in their back yard, and know on Dec 9th, if Spivey agrees, his 7th fight will be against a 35-4 fighter ( i believe that's right) and that will be in Spivey's favor because that's Hensley's fighter, so to speak. So taht race card won't work here.
