'King James' Battles in Canada!

Landover, MD light heavyweight "King" James McCallister will be in action tonight in Halifax, Nova Scotia, CA. His opponent will be a tough one as McCallister (11-5-1, three KO's) will take on "Notorious" Jason Naugler, a native of Halifax.

This will be McCallister's first bout in 2006. McCallister has won his last two bouts including an eight-round unanimous decision over Mike Eatmon on December 2 at BXF in Millersville, MD.

The name Jason Naugler (13-5-1, nine KO's) should be familiar to you, especially if you went to the card on November 26 at the Show Place Arena. Naugler was on that show and he battled the returning Purcell Miller to a tough six-round draw that many people (including myself) thought Naugler won.

Since that bout, Naugler lost an eight-round unanimous decision to undefeated "Bad" Chad Dawson on February 4 in El Paso, TX. Dawson has 15 KO's in his 22 wins, so it was an accomplishment for Naugler to go the distance with him.

This bout, especially in Naugler's hometown, looks like a tough one for McCallister.
