There is still no NABF Middleweight champion. Temple Hills, MD's D'Mitrius "Big Meech" Ballard and Yamaguchi Falcao of Sao Paolo, Brazil battled to a 10-round majority draw Thursday night at the Hangar in Costa Mesa, CA. The bout was shown on DAZN and on Facebook Watch Live.
According to reports, Ballard threw the harder punches but Falcao was the better boxer in the bout. One judge, Fernando Villareal, scored the bout for Ballard, 97-93 but he was overruled by judges Tiffany Clinton and Edward Hernandez, Sr., who saw the bout a draw at 95-95. Ballard's record now stands at 20-0-1, 13 KO's while Falcao is now 16-1-1, seven KO's.
