Isley, Davis Prepare For Pan American Games Competition In Peru!

Alexandria, VA amateur boxers Troy Isley and Keyshawn Davis are in Lima, Peru this week getting ready for competition in the Pan American Games.  The boxing begins on Saturday, July 27th.

Both men qualified for the event by winning medals at the qualifier in Managua, Nicaragua.  Isley had the best outing of any USA boxer at the qualifier as he won a gold medal defeating Arlen Lopez of Cuba, the reigning Pan Am, and Olympic champion. Davis captured a silver medal during the qualifiers.

Also attending will be Kay Koroma, the Assistant Coach for the US National team who also coaches Isley and Davis in Virginia.  The tournament lasts until Friday, August 2nd.
