We noted that Waldorf, MD welterweight Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed was going to be involved in a contest on Thursday, April 25th from Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA. Reed will need a new opponent as his scheduled foe was not approved by the California State Athletic Commission.
On the amateur side, Keyshawn Davis and Troy Isley of Alexandria, VA have moved into the quarterfinals of the Pan American Games Qualifier in Managua, Nicaragua. Should they win their bouts today, they will punch their tickets to the PanAm Games in Lima, Peru this summer.
