The next pro boxing card in the Beltway will take place on Saturday, April 20th at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, MD. A new promotional company, KBW Promotions, will bring this card to Beltway Boxing fans.
Scheduled to headline this "Rumble At Rosecroft" will be undefeated DC middleweight Dusty Hernandez Harrison who will return to action for the first time since September of 2016 when he won a 10-round unanimous decision over Thomas LaManna in Philadelphia, PA. Harrison (30-0-1, 16 KO's) will compete in an eight-round contest against Daniel "Tocado" Echeverria of Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico (19-8, 17 KO's) who will be trying to break a seven-bout losing streak. Echeverria is coming off a six-round majority decision loss to John Correa on October 26th in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.
The scheduled co-feature will have super middleweight "The Sexy Albanian" Genc Pllana of Hagerstown, MD who will be in a four-round contest against Alan Stephenson of Richmond, VA. Pllana (3-0, one KO) last fought on January 26th and won a six-round unanimous decision over Ashton Sykes in Waldorf, MD. Stephenson (0-3) looks for his first pro victory as he comes off an eight-round unanimous decision loss to Scott Sigmon in April of 2018 in Salem, VA.
In a six-round contest, Hagerstown super welterweight "The Lion King" Jonathan Burrs will battle Jauvan John of Brooklyn, NY. Burrs (2-1) looks for his third straight victory after defeating Justin Sykes on January 26th in Waldorf. John (3-7-1) broke a six-bout winless streak by defeating Anthony Miller by four-round unanimous decision on December 1st in Hockessin, DE.
Undefeated Upper Marlboro, MD heavyweight Mike "Silverback" Balogun returns to action in a six-round encounter against Marquis Valentine of Toledo, OH. Balogun (12-0, nine KO's) last fought on February 16th and scored a first-round knockout over Danny Calhoun on February 16th in New Cumberland, WVA. Valentine (5-5, two KO's) will look to break a four-bout losing streak including a first-round knockout loss to Bakhodir Jalolov on December 8th in La Puente, CA.
Leesburg, VA cruiserweight Joe Jones competes for the first time in the Beltway when he meets undefeated Montez Brown of Virginia Beach, VA in a six-round contest. Jones (9-1, seven KO's) looks to bounce back from his first pro loss, a fifth-round TKO defeat to Shawndell Terrell Winters on November 10th in Hammond, IN. Brown (8-0, six KO's) scored a sixth-round TKO over Ricco Ralston on February 9th in Norfolk, VA.
In other bouts on the card, Hobbsville, NC super featherweight Roger "RBIII" Belch will be in a six-round contest against Darel Harris of Sarasota, FL Belch (12-1, eight KO's) scored a fifth-round TKO over Sidell Blocker on February 9th in Norfolk, VA. Harris (1-11-1, one KO) looks to bounce back from a six-round unanimous decision loss to Stevie Massey on March 16th in Charlotte, NC. This will be the fourth bout for Harris this year.
Two other boxers are looking for opponents on the card. Washington, DC welterweight David "Day-Day" Grayton (15-3-1, 11 KO's) is winless in his last three contests including a 10-round unanimous decision loss to Terrel Williams on September 14th in Philadelphia. Also, Fort Washington, MD super featherweight Nathan Davis will make his pro debut on this card.

Rosecroft Raceway will be a very busy place for boxing in April as there will be pugilistic action on every Saturday of the month. The Washington Golden Gloves championships will be on April 6th, the Virginia/North Carolina Golden Gloves will take place April 12th and 13th and the Regional Golden Gloves will be on April 27th.
