Wade Signs With GH3 Promotions; 'Truck' Simpson To Make Pro Debut December 8th!

Two good-sized stories coming out of the Beltway.  Largo, MD middleweight Dominic Wade has signed a promotional contract with GH3 Promotions.

Wade (18-1, 12 KO's) has not fought since losing by second-round knockout to Gennady Golovkin for the Unified Middleweight title in April of 2016 in Inglewood, CA.

"I am excited to get back in the ring, and the show the world what I got.  I will get back to the top of the rankings, and do it better, and more proper this time." said Wade.

"It is time to show the world that I am back.  I want to take my time until the big fights come up.  I can see me in fights against Canelo Alvarez, Golovkin, Daniel Jacobs, Jermall Charlo, Demetrius Andrade or any of the other top middleweights out there.  I feel that after a couple of fights, I will be up there with the top names in the division.  I am just excited to do my thing.  I got to the top of the rankings with just natural talent.  Now I have a good team behind me with GH3 Promotions, I have a great work ethic, and I am back with my original trainer Adrian Davis.  I feel the best is still ahead of me."

We are also hearing that one of the most decorated Beltway amateurs in recent memory will make his professional debut.  Baltimore, MD middleweight Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson will turn professional on the Shabazz Brothers card on Saturday, December 8th at the A.C. Jordan Arena at Bowie State University in Bowie, MD.

Simpson is one of only two amateur boxers in history to win six national Silver Gloves championships in six different weight divisions.  Simpson has also won numerous medals at the national and international level.
