Two Beltway Boxers will be in action on Saturday, September 29th at the King's Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
Washington, DC super middleweight Gregory "Glizzy" Clark will be in a six-round contest against undefeated Edgar Berlanga of New York City. Clark (3-2-1, one KO) looks to bounce back from a six-round unanimous decision loss to Carlos Monroe on June 30th in Greensboro, NC. Clark may have a tough time against Berlanga who has a perfect record (8-0, eight KO's) with all of his knockouts coming in the first round. Berlanga stopped Aaron Garcia on June 9th at the King's Theatre.
Also, Upper Marlboro, MD cruiserweight Charles Johnson will be in a four-round bout with the debuting Giovanni Scuderi of Brooklyn by way of Catania, Italy. Johnson (1-1, one KO) comes off his first pro victory, a third-round TKO over Chester Stewart on August 18th at the Maryland Live Casino in Hanover, MD.
