Portsmouth, VA 141-pounder Nick Sullivan is the DC Region's only hope for a national Golden Glove championship. On Friday evening at the Ralston Arena in Omaha, NB, Sullivan won a 3-2 decision over Francois Scarboro of the Tri-State Region. Sullivan will face Adrian Benton of Cincinnati in Saturday's championship bout.
Baltimore, MD's Malik Titus lost his semi-final bout in the 201+-pound division by a 3-2 score to Sonny Conto of Pennsylvania.
