On another card held on April 21st in Brooklyn, NY, Bowie, MD cruiserweight Luther "Lights Out" Smith lost a six-round split decision to Kennedy Katende of New York City by way of Rubaga, Uganda at the Kings Theatre.
No details on the bout but Smith won one card by a 58-56 score. Katende won the other two cards by the same score. Smith is now 10-3, nine KO's while Katende remains undefeated at 4-0, one KO.
