There will be a very unique event that will raise funds for the Potomac Valley Association of USA Boxing's Junior Olympic Program. Four of the gyms in the area -- The Headbangers, No Xcuse, Oxon Hill and the Kenilworth Untouchables -- will compete, not in boxing, but in basketball on Friday, March 23rd at the Oxon Hill Staff Development Center, located at 7711 Livingston Road in Oxon Hill, MD.
There will be three basketball games with a team trophy going to the winner of the mini tournament. There will also be food available and a halftime three-point contest that is scheduled to feature legendary Beltway Boxers.
