One of the newest Beltway transplants, Dodzi Kemeh, will battle for the NABO Welterweight title on Friday, November 17 against undefeated Giovanni "Gallo De Oro" Santillan at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, CA.
Kemeh, a native of Accra, Ghana, is now living and training in Frederick, MD. Kemeh (19-1, 17 KO's) is coming off a fourth-round TKO over Francis Appalo on February 17th in Accra. This is Kemeh's first bout in the United States. According to his training staff, he has been sparring with Beltway Boxers Justin Hurd and David Grayton to get ready for this bout.
Santillan (22-0, 12 KO's) is a native of San Diego, CA and is making the first defense of his NABO title that he won with a second-round TKO over previously undefeated Sammy Valentin on July 7th in Tampa, FL. Santillan is a fixture at the Doubletree Hotel as this will be the 16th time he has competed there in his pro career.
