Davis Drops Unanimous Decision In Atlanta!

Washington, DC super featherweight Joshua "Dynamite" Davis has lost a six-round unanimous decision to undefeated Ray "Lightning Jr." Lampkin of Portland, OR tonight at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta, GA.  The bout was shown on the CBS Sports Network.

Davis had a tough time getting his offense together as Lampkin repeatedly circled him and hit him with hard right jabs.  Davis took a knee in the third round but was able to finish the contest.  Lampkin won by scores of 60-53 (twice) and 58-55.  Davis is now 11-2, five KO's while Lampkin rises to 11-0, four KO's.
