Ballard Thursday Opponent Changes..Again; Davis and Rodriguez Compete on Friday Card In Philadelphia!

The opponent for undefeated Temple Hills, MD super middleweight D'Mitrius "Big Meech" Ballard for his Thursday, May 18th nationally televised bout at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ has changed for a second time.  Ballard (16-0, 12 KO's) will now face Adrian Luna of Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl, México, in a 10-round bout.

Luna (20-4-1, 13 KO's) competes for the first time in the United States and has won two straight by sixth-round TKO including his stoppage of Raul Arellano on October 15th in Chipas, Mexico.  The bout will be televised on ESPN2.

On Friday, May 19th, Washington, DC super featherweight Joshua "Dynamite" Davis will battle Carlos Rosario of Pennsauken, NJ in an eight-round main event contest at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.  Davis (10-1, four KO's) returns to action for the first time since November of 2015 when he won a four-round unanimous decision over Justin Lopez in Cockeysville, MD.  Rosario (7-1, four KO's) comes off a third-round TKO over Lance Williams on March 11 in Philadelphia.

Also on the card, Manassas, VA super welterweight Juan "The Savior" Rodriguez will take on undefeated Tyrone Crawley of Philadelphia in a six-round bout.  Rodriguez (7-6-1, five KO's) broke a four-bout losing streak with a six-round split decision victory over David Gonzales on March 11 in Philadelphia.  Crawley (6-0) is the son of the legendary lightweight world title contender Tyrone "Butterfly" Crawley.  Crawley, Jr. comes off a six-round unanimous decision win over Alexander Charneco on July 9th in Trenton, NJ.
