Ballard Competes In Nationally-Televised 10-Round Contest In Tucson, AZ!

Undefeated Temple Hills, MD super middleweight D'Mitrius "Big Meech" Ballard will head into the biggest bout of his young pro career as he faces fellow undefeated boxer Ulises Sierra of San Diego, CA in a scheduled 10-round bout on Thursday, May 18th at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ.  The bout will be televised as the co-feature on a "Golden Boy Boxing" card on ESPN2 and is slated to be for the WBC USNBC Super Middleweight title.

Ballard (16-0, 12 KO's) has knocked out his last five opponents, including a fourth-round TKO over Zoltan Sera on March 11 in Verona, NY. Sierra (10-0-2, six KO's) won the California State Super Middleweight title with a first-round knockout over Jose Hernandez on July 16 in Lancaster, CA in his last outing.

Ballard has fought six straight guys with over -.500 records while Hernandez was the first boxer with a .500 or better record that Sierra has fought.
