Three more Beltway Boxers weighed in for bouts on Saturday. At the Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia, PA, Brandon Quarles tipped the scales at 155.6 pounds for his eight-round main event bout against Tyrone Brunson. Brunson came in at 156.3 pounds. For a six-round contest on the card, Juan Rodriguez weighed in at 139 1/2 while his opponent, David Gonzales, came in at 141.9.
Meanwhile at the Cypress Bayou Casino in Charenton, LA, Antoine Douglas and his opponent, Pablo Munguia, both weighed in at 163 pounds for their six-round contest. This will be the first bout for Douglas (19-1-1, 13 KO's) since suffering his first loss, a 10-round TKO to Avtandil Khurtsidze in March of last year. Munguia (21-11, 12 KO's) is a native of Mexico City who has lost five of his last six contests.
