The opponent for Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed on Friday, March 18th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA has changed.  Reed will now face Samuel "Bruno" Amoako, a native of Accra, Ghana who now fights out of Silver Spring, MD.  The bout will still be scheduled for eight rounds.

Meanwhile, the Mayweather Promotions/Headbangers Promotions/About Billions Promotions card on Friday, April 1 at the DC Armory is starting to come together.

One of the feature bouts will involve undefeated Baltimore, MD super featherweight Gervonta "Tank" Davis who will be in a scheduled 10-round contest against Guillermo "El Borrego" Avila of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.  Davis (14-0, 13 KO's) scored a tough ninth-round TKO over Luis Sanchez on December 18 in Las Vegas, NV.  Avila (16-5, 13 KO's) recently broke a two-bout losing streak by scoring a fourth-round TKO over Antonio Torres on December 21 in Tijuana.

Undefeated DC welterweight Kareem "Reemo" Martin will face Somner Martin of Martinsville, VA in a six-round bout.

Mendez (23-3-1, 12 KO's) is a native of the Dominican Republic who once challenged for the IBF Super Featherweight title.  Mendez lost a 12-round unanimous decision to Rances Barthelemy in July of 2014.  In his last outing, Mendez won a 10-round unanimous decision over Miguel Vazquez on October 6 in San Antonio, TX.

Las Vegas super middleweight J'Leon Love will be in another 10-rounder against "The Amazing" Michael Gbenga of Accra, Ghana by way of Lagos, Nigeria.  Love (21-1, 11 KO's) last fought on September 29 and won a 10-round unanimous decision over Marcus Upshaw in Las Vegas.  Gbenga (21-24, 20 KO's) broke an eight-bout losing streak in his last contest, winning a six-round majority decision over Marcus Vinicius De Oliveira on February 20 in Camel Rock, NM.  In 2014, Gbenga lost back-to-back bouts to Beltway Boxers Thomas Williams, Jr. and Phil Jackson-Benson.  Gbenga dropped a 10-round unanimous decision to Williams and was stopped in the seventh round by Jackson-Benson.
