Adrien Broner and Ashley Theophane made their final comments at the final press conference for their Friday, April 1 bout at the DC Armory in Washington, DC.

WBA Super lightweight champ Broner came to the Hamilton Live location in Northwest DC more than an hour late...and then had very little to say to the media assembled during the conference.

"I didn't even want to come here," Broner said.  "The fight is already sold."  Reportedly, there are about 200 tickets remaining for the card.  Broner then reiterated his promise that he would knock out the British challenger between four and eight rounds.

Theophane said he is looking for a war on Friday night.

"We are two days away and we are going to war," Theophane said.  "I hope he will try to live up to his promise -- to stalk me and try to knock me out."

As Theophane walked away from the podium, he ended his comments, "...and the new."

The weigh-in will be Thursday at 1 PM at the Bald Eagle Recreation Center in Southwest DC. The weigh-in is no longer open to the public.
