Undefeated Washington, DC welterweight David "Day-Day" Grayton returns to action on Sunday, January 31 for an eight-round bout against Jeremiah Wiggins of Newport News, VA at the Seminole Casino in Immokalee, FL.
Grayton (13-0, nine KO's) last fought on October 17 and won an eight-round unanimous decision over Martin Wright at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, VA. Wiggins (10-5-1, three KO's) has had difficulties since stepping up in competition. After winning 10 of his first 11 bouts (10-0-1) Wiggins is in the midst of a five-bout losing streak to boxers with a combined won-loss record of 54-1-1.
The bout will be part of a card that will be televised on Bounce TV. No word yet on whether the bout will make the telecast.
