Undefeated Gaithersburg, MD welterweight Gerome "GQ" Quigley (9-0, eight KO's) has an opponent for his four-round bout in Hanau, Hessen, Germany on Sunday, September 20.
The opponent is, indeed, a true veteran of the fight game. His name is Zsolt Botos and he hails from Duchov in the Czech Republic by way of Slovakia. Botos (6-46-1, four KO's) is 38 years old and has been boxing since 2001. Botos is winless in his last 29 contests (0-28-1) but has been the distance in 21 of those bouts. The last bout for Botos took place on July 4 in Belgium where he lost by sixth-round TKO to Steve Suppan.
