DC heavyweight Danny "Smooth" Kelly scored a first-round TKO over Jimmy Suarez of Aguada, Puerto Rico Friday night at the Claridge Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.
Kelly landed a left hook and knocked Suarez down. Suarez took the entire referee's count and the bout was over at 1:33. Kelly's record rises to 9-1-1, eight KO's while Suarez falls to 3-6, three KO's.
