Oxon Hill, MD's Tiara Brown has qualified for the US Olympic Trials. In a 132-Pound semifinal tonight at the Baltimore Harbour Hotel, Brown won a 3-0 decision over Millersville, MD's Amelia Moore.
Moore got off to a very good start in the first round as she came out very offensive-minded. However, as the bout wore on, Brown started to cut off the ring and eventually break down Moore. Brown earned a standing eight count late in the second round and went on to the victory.
