Hurd, Womack, Jr. Hit Scales in Newark, NJ!

Two Beltway Boxers weighed in for bouts that will take place Friday, August 14 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Jarrett Hurd hit the scales at the super welterweight limit of 154 for his eight-round contest against Jeff Lentz, who tipped the scales at 155.

Also in a bout just added to the card, Kevin Womack, Jr. (7-6-3, five KO's) of Baltimore, MD will be in a six-round contest against undefeated Mikkel LesPierre of New York City (9-0-1, four KO's).  Womack is coming off a six-round unanimous decision loss to Ladarius Miller on July 25 in Las Vegas, NV.  This will be Womack's third bout in a month and sixth bout since May 8.

LesPierre scored a third-round TKO over Larry Darnell Ventus on July 8 in New York City.  LesPierre's draw came against Beltway Boxer Cornelius Whitlock in New York in December of 2012.

Both men weighed in at 142 pounds.
