Washington, DC welterweight Dusty Hernandez Harrison will take on Carlos Winston "El Guerrero" Velasquez of Managua, Nicaragua in an eight-round contest on Saturday, August 15 at Wynwood Stadium in Miami, FL.
The undefeated Harrison (26-0, 13 KO's) won his last contest over Chris Gray by eight-round unanimous decision on April 17 in Mashantucket, CT.
Velasquez (23-20-1, 13 KO's) is riding a two-bout winning streak, capturing two victories in Honduras. However, Velasquez is 0-3 when competing in the United States. That includes his first trip to the US in October of 2013 when he lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Ty Barnett in DC at the Washington Convention Center.
