Alexandria, VA's Iesha Kenney has been a dominating presence after her first two bouts at the World Junior and Youth Championships in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
The 17-year-old Kenney has scored third round TKO's in both her bouts thus far. Kenney stopped Taylor Ross of Canada at 1:20 of the round on Tuesday. Wednesday's action saw Kenney score a stoppage over Fanni Szokol of Hungary at 1:07 of the third.
Kenney can do no worse than a bronze medal in the Youth Division from this event, which is what Kenney did as a Junior in the same tournament in 2013 in Bulgaria. Kenney's semifinal bout will be on Friday against Lu Zheng on Friday.
