Baltimore, MD welterweight James "Keep Em' Sleepin'" Stevenson returns to action on Friday, April 24 when he faces Roberto "La Amenaza" Garcia of Weslaco, TX in a 10-round contest at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL.
Stevenson (22-1, 15 KO's) bounced back from suffering his first pro loss with a first-round TKO of Larry Ventus on November 13 at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore.
Garcia (36-3. 23 KO's) is riding an eight-bout winning streak including a 10-round unanimous decision win over Breidis Prescott on July 25 at the UIC Pavilion.
This bout will be the top undercard contest on a card featuring the Anthony Dirrell-Badou Jack and Daniel Jacobs-Caleb Truax contests that will be televised by Spike TV.
