Two more Beltway Boxers are on the road on the weekend of April 17 and 18, bringing the total of traveling locals to 12.
Haymarket, VA lightweight Juan "The Savior" Rodriguez returns to action on Friday, April 17 at Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Mashantucket, CT. Rodriguez (6-2-1, five KO's) will face undefeated Sonny Fredrickson of Toledo, OH (7-0, five KO's) in a six-round contest.
Rodriguez is coming off a fifth-round TKO over previously undefeated Nathaniel Rivas on December 13 in Philadelphia, PA. Fredrickson won a six-round unanimous decision over Eric Palmer on March 7 of 2014 in Cincinnati, OH.
Rodriguez will join DC's Dusty Hernandez Harrison on this card. Harrison will compete in an eight-round bout on this card.
On Saturday, April 18, Salisbury, MD middleweight Fernando Guerrero will compete in a 10-round contest against Abraham Han of El Paso, TX at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, CA.
Guerrero (26-3, 19 KO's) will try to bounce back from a third-round TKO loss to David Lemieux on May 24 in Montreal, Canada. Han (23-2, 14 KO's) is also coming off a loss -- a 12-round split decision to Sergio Mora on February 6 in Biloxi, MS.
