Beltway Boxers On The Road In April!

April will be a big travel month for pro Beltway Boxers.  No less than 13 locals will be competing on the road.  Starting on Thursday, we will talk about each bout in detail.  However, here is the list of locals on the road:

Friday, April 3 --Jed "The Punisher" Phipps (19-9, 11 KO’s), Baltimore, MD vs. Daniel “The Mountain” Martz (12-1, nine KO’s), Clarksburg, WVA in eight-round heavyweight contest at Robarts Arena, Sarasota, FL

Saturday, April 11 -- Lamont Peterson (33-2-1, 17 KO’s), Washington, DC vs. Danny “Swift” Garcia (29-0, 17 KO’s), Philadelphia, PA in 12-round 143-pound contest at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY.  Televised by NBC.

Friday, April 17 -- Alantez “SlyAza” Fox (14-0-1, four KO’s), Forestville, MD vs. TBA in eight-round junior middleweight contest at Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, CT.

Friday, April 17 -- Dusty Hernandez Harrison (25-0, 13 KO’s), Washington, DC vs. TBA in eight-round welterweight contest at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT.  Card will be televised by Fox Sports 1.

Saturday, April 18 -- Malik “Iceman” Hawkins (2-0, two KO’s), Baltimore, MD vs. TBA in four-round super lightweight contest at GPG Events Center, Pennsauken, NJ.

Saturday, April 18 -- Lamont Roach, Jr. (6-0, three KO’s), Upper Marlboro, MD vs. TBA in six-round lightweight contest against TBA at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, Verona, NY. The bout is on the undercard of Lucas Matthysse-Ruslan Provodnikov.
