Bowie, MD super middleweight "The King's Son" Jerry Odom has lost his first pro bout due to a disqualification in the fourth round at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to reports, Odom knocked down his opponent, Andrew "Hurricane" Hernandez down in the fourth round but hit him twice while he was down. That resulted in an instant DQ by referee Arthur Mercante, Jr.
Odom is now 12-1, 11 KO's while Hernandez remains undefeated at 8-0-1, one KO.
