Beltway amateurs lost three bouts on the first day of competition at the USA Nationals in Spokane, WA.
Matthew Abregu of Leesburg, VA lost a 2-1 decision to Arthur Saakyan of Montebello, CA at 152 pounds. At the same weight class, Jonathan Burrs of Frederick, MD fell by a 3-0 decision to Burim Beqiri of Grand Rapids, MI.
In the 141-Pound division, Eric Hernandez lost a 3-0 decision to Douglas Northern of Philadelphia, PA.
No Beltway amateurs are in action today.
