Undefeated Waldorf, MD junior welterweight Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed continues on the road as he will take on fellow undefeated boxer Oscar Valenzuela of El Paso, TX in an eight-round contest on Saturday, November 29 at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE.
Reed (11-0, six KO's) is coming off a six-round unanimous decision victory over Osnel Charles on October 4 in Atlantic City, NJ. This will be Reed's first scheduled eight-round contest. Valenzuela (8-0-1, five KO's) scored a first-round TKO against Frank Maruffo on July 18 in El Paso. Reed will be Valenzuela's most accomplished opponent.
This bout will be on the non-televised undercard of the Terrence Crawford-Raymundo Beltran WBO Lightweight title bout.
