Reed Cruises To Unanimous Decision Victory in Omaha!

Waldorf, MD junior welterweight Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed won an eight-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Oscar Valenzuela of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico Saturday night at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE.  Reed won by scores of 77-75 (twice) and 79-76.

"Reed displayed a nice mixture of punches, landing often to the body of Valenzuela. While Valenzuela proved to be plenty game, he was often outhustled throughout the fight. Reed remains undefeated going to 12-0, six KOs, while Valenzuela tastes defeat and drops to 8-1-1, five KOs."

Also on the card, Beltway referee Joe Cooper was the third man in the ring for the co-feature bout  -- the IBF Featherweight title bout between Evgeny Gradovich and Jayson Velez.  The bout went to a draw.
