Quarles Loses Decision in Minnesota!

"The Pride of Alexandria" Brandon Quarles lost an eight-round unanimous decision to Corey "Collateral Damage" Rodriguez of St. Anthony, MN Saturday night at the Black Bear Casino in Carlton, MN.

According to Jesse Kelley of MinnesotaBoxing.com,  Rodriguez's relentless pressure and accurate punches were the difference in the fight although Quarles did well boxing, moving, and landing solid shots of his own particularly in the early going. Scores read 78-74, 77-75, 78-74 all in favor of Rodriguez.

Quarles's record drops to 13-3-1, five KO's while Rodriguez's record rises to 12-3-3, four KO's.

Please urge Minnesota Boxing to upload the bout's video tape to Youtube and let the public offer an "unbiased" assessment.

I think Brandon had that fight by 2 rounds. His infighting was by far more effective, the other guy was hitting Brandon' s gloves for the most part. The guys commentating were so bias it wasn't even funny... Brandon, you got robbed the next my eyes! Gary, what's your thoughts?

After Mr. Rodriguez gets his stitches out and licks his wounds for 3 months perhaps he'll train and give Brandon a rematch. Ironically, Brandon is ready to fight again NOW. How bout in DC next time, champ?!
