Upper Marlboro, MD lightweight Lamont Roach, Jr. will compete on the Saturday, September 6 card at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH. That's the card that features Emanuel Taylor challenging Adrian Broner in the main event.
Roach, Jr. (2-0, one KO) will take on Rocco Espinosa of Las Vegas, NV (4-8) in a four-round contest. Roach is coming off a first-round stoppage of Miguel Antonio Rodriguez on June 5 in Boston, MA. Rodriguez dislocated his shoulder in the contest.
Espinosa dropped a four-round split decision to undefeated Santiago Guevara on January 24 in Indio, CA. Espinosa will be facing an undefeated boxer for the third straight time as he tries to break a three-bout losing streak.

Lamont Roach is another great, talented fighter that the DMV is excited to have. He will have a long successful professional boxing career. I'm looking forward to see him fight live one day.
