Johnson Also Wins Majority Decision!

I was a little ahead of myself in the last headline, however, Emanuel Johnson did indeed win a four-round majority decision over Calvin Smith.

It was not the prettiest bout you could see.  Johnson stayed closer to his nickname than he did in his pro debut as he used his jab a little more and that was the difference in the contest.

Johnson won by scores of 38-36 and 39-37. One judge scored it a draw at 38-38.

Johnson is now 2-0 while Smith is now 2-8.
