Thompson Drops 12-Round Unanimous Decision In Paris!

Tony "The Tiger" Thompson has lost a 12-round unanimous decision to Carlos Takam tonight at Marcel Cerdan Sport Palace in Paris, France.

According to reports, Takam outworked Thompson for the bulk of the bout, choosing to play it safe for the final two rounds.  Thompson had some success counterpunching but could not seize control of the contest.

Thompson's record drops to 39-5, 26 KO's.  Takam, who captured the WBC Silver Heavyweight title with the win, is now 30-1-1, 23 KO's.

That mean Takam can fight. Anybody that beats Tony can fight. And look at Tony and how busy he's been the past 2 to 3 years, making big money and in big fights. And it was a long hard road for Tony who fought for years in obscurity. If Tony wants to he could fight fights like this for another 2 years or so.
