Isley Wins Junior Olympic Nationals; Veazey Claims Silver!

Congratulations to Troy Isley of Alexandria, VA who is the Junior Olympic National Champion at 154 pounds!

Isley, fighting at a weight class two divisions heavier than usual, won a 3-0 decision over Manuel Rodriguez of Indio, CA to claim the title in Charleston WVA.  Isley was also named the Outstanding Boxer of the tournament among the heavier weight classes.

Congratulations also to Joe Veazey of Pasadena, MD who won a silver medal in the 145 pound division.  Veazey lost his final to Janelson Figueroa of Detroit, MI by a 3-0 decision.
