In a bout that looked tougher than the scorecards indicated, Tyrieshia "Lady Tiga" Douglas won a six-round unanimous decision over a very game Cristina Fuentes.
Douglas was active throughout, showing great lateral movement and landing solid shots with both hands. Fuentes, however, would not stop coming and she did land some nice right hands.
However, Douglas landed the more telling shots and won by scores of 60-54 (twice) and 58-56. Douglas is now 4-0, one KO and is reportedly looking at a WIBA title bout in her next contest in the fall. Fuentes is now 3-6-3.
Up next. Travis "Severe" Reeves of Baltimore takes on Lamont "Smooth" Capers of Tobyhanna, PA. Six rounds, Cruiserweights.
