There were four amateur contests during the card in Annandale, VA as well on Saturday night. Here are the results:
Darren Williams of Benning Park Boxing in DC won a decision over Christopher Gooch of UFC Boxing in Ashburn, VA at 132 pounds. Williams was very solid and had a solid fan following at the event. Many folks around ringside were very impressed with his performance.
A split night for the Abregu Brothers of the UFC Boxing Gym. Diego Abregu won his bout over Quinton Bracey of County Boxing Gym of Newport News, VA while Matthew Abregu lost by decision to Yamil Munoz of County Boxing. Both bouts were at 152 pounds.
In a female contest, Tania Jackson of Enigma Boxing of Capitol Heights won a decision over Joelle Flores of UFC Boxing in a novice 100 pound bout.
Eric Hernandez of UFC Boxing won his bout via walkover.
