On Saturday, April 5, a number of Beltway amateurs traveled to New Jersey and faced a group of amateurs from the Garden State. According to reports, the Potomac Valley Association (PVA) All-Stars won the dual competition in NJ.
This Saturday, April 12, the rematch will take place at the Merrick Recreation Center, 4275 4th Street, SE in DC. The first bout is slated to begin at 3 PM. This will also be a reunion event for any boxers who fought for the Ham Athletic Club at any time. Tickets are $15 in advance. For more information, call 202-528-7694.
