10-11 Year Old Division:

70 Pounds: Tyreek Williams (The Answer) over Muhammad Robinson (unattached)
75 Pounds: Ervin Canlas (Keystone) over Damon Burnette, Jr. (Keystone)
85 Pounds: Stacey Selby (Langdon) over Jahlil Hackett (unattached)
12-13 Year Old Division:
90 Pounds: Malik Warren (Charm City) over Chamar Flowers (Headbangers)
90 Pounds: Kyron Curry (UMAR) over DeJon Corley (unattached)
14-15 Year Old Division:
119 Pounds: Sergio Bolanos (Headbangers) over Andres Garibey (unattached)
119 Pounds: Shadid Bond (Charm City) over Gregory Burton (Langdon)
132 Pounds: Mercado Copeland (Headbangers) over Danardo Johnson (Sugar Ray Leonard)
A number of boxers advanced to the next round unopposed.
Action continues on Saturday, September 14 at 1 PM at Rosecroft.
Greg Burton was robbed its no way the judges could've given that fight to the other kid, he kept knocking the kid headgear off wit very effective punches, I don't know why the ref didn't call any 8 counts. All tho the kid Greg looked very winded at the end but if you count how long the second round was its understandable but Greg still won this bout.... Juice has the proof
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the young lions I recall the feeling of winning my silver glove championship in 1996... made it to the regionals and even though I loss the experience was awesome. I thank Coach Barry & Cunningham for giving the young fighters a chance to become someone in the sport we chose. May God Bless you all the trainers and the supporters aswell.
