It took just one punch very early in the second round. Jarrett Hurd used a picture-perfect straight right hand to drop George Armenta to the canvas. Referee Brent Bovell stopped the contest at 11 seconds of the second.

The punch ended what had been a somewhat competitive bout in the first round. Armenta landed some shots but it looked like Hurd was landing the more potent shots.
Hurd is now 10-0, six KO's. Armenta is now 14-11, 11 KO's.
